-Perhaps my favorite website outside of the big 2 (wikipedia,google). Slickdeals is an amazing resource for finding great deals! Front page deals (deals that you see on the front page of the website), have been certified slick by the websites excellent moderators. Beyond the front page the forums, with great search and filter options provide a plethora of deals the users have posted. Now one would wonder, if anybody can post a deal, what if other people don't think its a good deal? Thats where the thumbs up/thumbs down feature becomes useful. By looking at a specific thread you can determine what other people think about the deal posted by seeing how many thumbs up, or down it has. The limits are 5 thumbs up (this is almost certainly a great deal) and 5 thumbs down (this almost certainly not a good deal, however don't always ignore this, in some cases users get irritated because they feel the deal is common knowledge e.g. the dollar menu at mcdonalds or perhaps that feel it is self promotion, which is actually against the rules). There are many more great things about slickdeals that I could write about and maybe I will, but not now, go discover it for yourself, those are just the main highlights.
